Sri Ananthapadmanabha Temple is a Hoysala-era temple located in the village of Hosa Budanur, Mandya taluk, Mandya district, Karnataka. This temple was built during the reign of Hoysala King Veera Ballala III in the 12th-13th century. There are two temples from the Hoysala period in the village of Hosa Budanur, the other being the Sri Kashi Vishwanath Temple.
This temple is located about 100 km from Bangalore and just 8 km from Mandya.
The Anantha Padmanabha Temple is dedicated to Lord Anantha Padmanabha. The sculpture is in a standing posture, which is one of the rare forms of this god. He is holding a chakra, ashtabandha, gada and shankha. The door frames of the temple are highly decorated. There are two small shrines containing sculptures of Ganapati and Lakshmi. There is an inscription stone in the temple, which is an important source of information about the temple.
