Shri Saptamatheyara Temple

Shri Saptamatheyara Temple is a very ancient temple located in Arale Makanahalli of Hoskote in the Bangalore Rural district of Karnataka. This temple is a peaceful place and is said to be around 300 years old.

This temple is located 38 km from Bangalore (via the Hoskote–Malur road) and 17 km from Hoskote.

Shree Sapta Mata’s Hill Temple is also locally known as Seven Amman’s Temple and is located on a small hill well near Hoskote. Some call it a ghost monastery. The temple of seven deities of this Saptamatha is said to be around 300 years old.

Shri Saptamatheyara Temple is accessible from 7 AM to 12:30 PM and from 3:30 PM to 7 PM.

Every year after Rama Navami, grand celebrations take place in the temple of these seven mothers in their own style. There are sub shrines of Navagraha, Ganapati and Kala Bhairav. A stone pillar is available. There is a special place where devotees can offer coconuts.
