One can spot species such as the Spot-billed Pelican, Wood Sandpiper, Common Sandpiper, Green Sandpiper (Tringa ochropus), Indian Spot-billed Duck (Anas poecilorhyncha), Common Teal, Eurasian Wigeon, Northern Pintail, Northern Shoveler, Little Grebe, Little Cormorant, Indian Cormorant, and Great Cormorant (Phalacrocorax carbo). Flocks of Common Pochards, Black-tailed Godwits, ducks, and large groups of water hens can also be seen. Grey heron, purple heron, Indian pond heron, cattle egret, little egret, and intermediate egret (Ardea intermedia) can also be seen.
