Hasta Shilpa Heritage Village Museum is a famous museum located in Manipal, Udupi district of Karnataka state. The museum contains several heritage houses, historical buildings and temple models that introduce the traditional lifestyle of Karnataka. Here handicrafts, textiles, antique utensils, agricultural implements, furniture and different thematic galleries are collected and exhibited.

This museum was established by Vijayanath Shenai. Hasta Shilpa Heritage Village Museum was established in 1997. Shenai, interested towards architecture and heritage preservation, designed his own house in 1990 as “Hasta Shilpa Heritage House”. Later it expanded into the Hasta Shilpa Heritage Village Museum in Manipal and grew to a larger scale.
The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday and every Monday is a weekly holiday. The museum operates from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. No entry after 3:45pm.
Hasta Shilpa Heritage Village Museum Ticket Price
Various types of tours are organized according to the needs of the visitors. Ticket prices are fixed accordingly. The entry pass counter closes after 3:45 PM and then the entry gates close.
Guided Tours
Guided tours are offered at the request of visitors under the following conditions.
| Tours are conducted only for groups of at least 10 people. |
| Tours are offered only in the morning starting at 10:00 am. |
| Entry fee per person is Rs. 500/- only. |
| Entry fee for children aged 6 to 12 years is Rs. 150/- only, free entry for children below 5 years. |
