On the hill is a beautiful temple originally dedicated to Lord Narayana (Vishnu). His idol was stolen and the next king worshiped Lord Kaileswara (Shiva) in place of Vishnu. The temple currently houses a Shivalinga and a Nandi. Adjacent to the temple is a ruined mandapa and some natural water pools believed to have originated from Bhima’s toe, thumb, knee and mace and named accordingly.
