Trikuteshwara Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. This stone carved temple is located in Gadag town of Karnataka state. It has three lingams build on a single stone. This temple dedicated to god Saraswati.

The temple has ornate pillars with intricate carvings. There are three Shiva Lingams in the sanctum sanctorum. The temple has stone screens and carved statues. The Trikuteshwar temple complex also houses a Saraswati shrine with elegant stone pillars. The Trikuteswara temple complex has a beautiful pond with sloping slabs in the elegant Badami Chalukya style of architecture.
The sloping slabs that act as a balcony form are decorated with symbolic panels and surmounted by steeply angled eaves. Inside the hall, the columns have images mounted in shallow niches. The eastern sanctum has three lingams representing Brahma, Maheshwar and Vishnu and the southern one is dedicated to Goddess Saraswati.
Adjacent to this temple is another temple dedicated to the three goddesses Saraswati, Gayatri and Sarada. Only the statues are in a new style. The temple is of old architecture. Gadag is known for its ancient temples built during the Kalyani Chalukya period.
The architecture of this temple was built by architect Amara Shilpi Jakanachari. The Badami Chalukyas were the proponents of early architectural achievements in the Deccan. Aihole, Badami and Pattadakallu were his centers of art. After them Rashtrakutas and Kalyani Chalukyas came to power. The temple was built around 1050 to 1200 during the rule of the Western Chalukyas.
