Mundargi Fort

Mundaragi Fort is the fort of the region ruled by the famous Maratha ruler Chhatrapati Shivaji and the Nawabs of the Western Chalukyas. This fort is located Mundaragi city in Gadag district of Karnataka state.

Mundaragi Fort is 346 km from Bangalore, 97 km from Hubli city and only 38 km from Gadag city by road and only 01 km from Mundaragi city.

Mundaragi Fort is a hill station and now it is a dilapidated fort. It is a small hill on the outskirts of Mundaragi city. The fort is a white stone tower and a water tank. The water tank looks as tall as a hill. Mundaragi hill, a fort and a part of the town.

A beautiful looking old fort wall connects the two hemispherical roof, making the fort a total of five hemispherical roofs and a path near the hemispherical roof. The walls of the Mundaragi fort are in a highly dilapidated structure, yielding ancient traces.
