BRT Wildlife Sanctuary is a wildlife sanctuary located in Chamarajanagar. It was declared a tiger reserve in 2011. The total area of the Tiger Reserve is 574.82 km². This unique location lies in the middle of the Western and Eastern Ghats, both biologically and geographically. The tiger reserve derives its name from the name ‘Biligiri’ as a tiger reserve.
Biligiri Rangaswamy Temple Tiger Reserve is 230 kilometers from Bangalore and about 152 kilometers from Mysore. and is 128 kilometers from Chamarajanagar. And it is 90 kilometers away from Kollegala.
The Tiger Reserve has two sub-divisions namely Chamarajanagar and Yalandur sub-divisions and Chamarajanagar (Regional), K. It consists of six ranges of wildlife ranges namely Gudi, Punejanur, Yalandur, Kollegala and Bailur. The forests of the BRT Tiger Reserve are mainly of dry deciduous type with moist deciduous, semi-evergreen, evergreen and shola patches occurring at different altitudes.Animals found in Huli include tiger, elephant, leopard, wild dog, bison, sambar, spotted deer, barking deer, four-horned antelope, sloth bear, wild boar, common langur, bonnet macaque, reptiles, birds etc. Reserve.
Biligiri Ranganatha Swamy Temple (BRT) Wildlife Sanctuary derives its name from the ancient Ranganatha Swamy Temple on the edge of the precipice and covers an area of 539.52 sq km. Biligirirangana Betta (Betta) is 5,091 feet above sea level and is about 16 km from north to south.

Trees in the frist row : Anozysus latifolia, Dalbergia paniculata, Grevia teleifolia, Terminalia alata, Terminalia bellirica, Terminalia paniculata, Stereospermum personatum and Syzygium cumin.
Trees in the second row: Buchanania lanzon, Caria arborea, Hymenodictyon excelsum, Kidia calycina, Schleichera oleosa and Sterculia villosa.

Fauna and mammals living in the tiger reserve have been recorded, among which gaur, sambar, spotted deer, barking deer and four-horned antelope are important figs. Habitat carnivores include: tiger, leopard, wild dog, lesser cat and civet cat. Arboreal mammals include two mammals and three species of squirrels, including the giant flying squirrel, among others.
