Yedamuri Falls

Yedamuri Falls is a waterfall located on the outskirts of Mysore city on the KRS route and alongside the Balamuri Falls. Edmuri Waterfall is a waterfall located in Majjigpur village in Mandya district of Karnataka state.

Yedamuri Falls is about 151 km from Bangalore. It is about 41 km from Mandya city and 17 km from Mysore city. Mysore is the nearest railway station which is 15 km away from the station. It is just 4.5 km from Brindavan Garden.

A cross wall was constructed to bring water from Cauvery river through the canal for irrigation. This has created the form of a waterfall. This waterfall is a waterfall formed by a 6 feet high steep rock slope in the course of the river. Against the backdrop of lush green hills and the sight of glistening water, the waterfall offers a pure sight.

This destination, considered one of the most popular weekend getaways, is a highly sought-after picnic spot. It is ideal for swimming, water games, and other activities. Near the waterfall, there is an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha. It is a perfect place for leisurely walks, relaxation, and quietly enjoying the serene beauty.

You can visit Edmuri Falls at any time of the year. But it is best to visit between March and July. During this period the water level is low and considered safe for water activities.
