Kaiwara Betta is located in Chikkaballapur district of the state of Karnataka. There is also Kempegowda Fort on the Kaiwara Hill, which is in a dilapidated condition. This hill is named as Bhima Bakasura Hill and it has a lot of history and the best sunrise view in Kaiwar.
Kaiwara Betta is about 82 km from Bangalore. It is about 36 km from Chikkaballapur city and 37 km from Chikkaballapur railway station.
To climb Kaiwara Hill you must first enter Kaiwara National Park. ID card is mandatory for this park Entry fee – ₹10/- per person.
A very beautiful hill top with a scenic route, the trek to the top can be a bit tough for some guys as it gets really steep when it closes to the top. But the journey is worth the work. You can also see ancient ruins at the top.
