Sri Ananta Padmanabha Swamy is the presiding deity of this temple located on the main road of the town. There are also Kshetrapala, Khadga Ravana and Dhumavati temples in the temple premises.
In the sanctum sanctorum of the temple, the idol of Lord Sri Ananta Padmanabha is enthroned in a standing posture, and the idol is about three feet tall, carved in beautiful black granite.
