Kadabu is a famous morning snack of hill country (Shivamogga). Even today, in some houses in the highlands, it is customary to make Kadab even 7 days a week. It is very healthy to eat this morning snack made from rice flour, water and salt.
Everyone who works in the village seems to get more energy if they eat kadabu. Rice flour, water and salt are cooked well and made into a big ball and cooked in hot air (Sargolu).Even though this tasteless dish is not very popular with today’s kids, it is a very healthy breakfast. Fish and Chicken sambar is its best combination.
