Kosambari is a traditional South Indian salad, kosambari is a traditional ingredient that is prepared using chickpeas or gram dal. Coriander prepared using pulses is also healthy. Typically prepared as part of festive meals, temple offerings or special occasions.
This is a salad prepared by adding grated carrots, soaked in water, gram flour, grated coconut, some coriander leaves, salt, oil, mustard seeds, asafoetida, green chillies and mixed with it. Kosambari is here on auspicious occasions and leaves the meal incomplete. Kids and adults, everyone’s mouths are watered by the kosambri for a moment.
