Hatti Gold Mines Company Limited (HGML) is a regional gold producer board of Raichur district in the state of Karnataka. It is one of the oldest metal mines in the world. Hatti Gold Mine Company is located in Hatti Village in Lingasugur Taluk of Raichur District, Karnataka State. First established as the Hyderabad Gold Mine in 1947, it later became the Hatti Gold Mines Company Limited of the liberated Karnataka Government under the rule of the Nizams of Hyderabad. It has the unique distinction of being the single largest gold producing unit in the country.
Hatti Gold Mines is 480 km from Bangalore and 234 km from Hubballinagar and 150 km from Bellary city. It is only 80 km by road and 82 km by railway from Raichur city.
HGML is engaged in exploration, development and refining of gold deposits occurring in Karnataka. Hatti Gold Mines Company Limited has its corporate office in Bangalore and operates two units.

Chitradurga Gold Unit (CGU) in Chitradurga district is a unit capable of producing 5,50,000 tonnes per annum from mines operating at Ajjanahalli.
HGML currently processes are from two sub-unit mines at Hatti Gold Mine, UTI and Heera-Buddinni. A major expansion, including expanded capacity of the metallurgical project in a phased manner, is also under consideration. However, CGU’s gold mining and processing ore operations have been temporarily stoped.
