Devadurga is also famous for the 500 year old baobab tree. Devadurga is a town and the taluk headquarters of the Devadurga taluk in the Raichur district in the state of Karnataka. There are only a handful of baobab trees in India and one more baobabs are in Savanur in Haveri district.
