Sri Raamadevara Katte is located in Hassan district of Karnataka state.. This check dam was constructed in 1870 by the then Maharaja of Mysore with the help of British officials and was named Ramdevara Annekatte or Sri Ramdevara Katte. Now the work of hydroelectric plant is in progress.
