Jhari Waterfall is a fall located near Mullaiyanagari and Baba Budan Giri in Chikmagalur district of Karnataka state. The water originating in the mountains flows over steep cliffs, in a wide and thin white layer. Hence it is also known as Majjige Falls. Jhari Falls has a beautiful backdrop of lush green hills. Best time to visit Jari falls August to January are ideal months.
