Bugle Rock is a great place to relax. It is used for cultural, social and awareness programs. A watch tower built on a rock offers beautiful views of the city. It is one of the main attractions of Bugle Rock Park. Bugle Rock Garden is behind the big Ganesha Temple and next to the Bull Temple.

It is surrounded by natural rock formations, waterfalls and fountains, lush vegetation, numerous trees, paved walking paths, fountains, temples, a gym and a water tank, with murals of prominent figures of Karnataka including Kempegowda, Visvesvaraya and DV Gundappa. The park is densely wooded, and one can often see and hear several bats roosting in the trees.

Since ancient times a watchman has ensured the safety of the city every sunset by carrying a torch (torch) and blowing a trumpet, to warn people of intruders or to let everyone know that the area is safe. There is a watch tower on the rock which was used to signal the other three watch towers in the city. It is a very interesting geological sight and a point of interest among geologists.

It includes a tower at Bugle Rock (on the southern border). It is visible from three other watch towers in Bangalore city, one in the west on the south bank of Kempambudi tank, the second tower near Halasuru Lake. The third tower, attached to the Ramana Maharshi Ashram at Mekhri Circle on Bellary Road, was made to let the people know that everything was safe in the place and to give a warning bugle call to warn any intruding citizens into the city.

The word bugle in early English means “wild ox.” Ox horns were given to soldiers and hunters as signaling devices, first known as bugle horn.
