Kundana Betta (Kundana Hill) is located to the west of Devanahalli Taluk in Bangalore Rural District. This monolithic hill near Devanahalli looks like a squirrel. The hill is 61 meters high and about 100 meters wide * 50 meters wide. Kundana Betta was the capital of the Hoysalas Ramanathanaraja in the late 13th century.
Kundana Hill is 38 kilometers from Bangalore and 11 kilometers from Devanahalli city.

1537 AD Kempegowda I, ruler of Yalahanka Nadi, started the construction of Bangalore on the orders of Vijayanagara Empire. Kundana Hill was a military base at that time. Presently there are Channarayaswamy temple and Anjaneyaswamy temple in this place. Thousands of people visiting this place during the annual festivals. The place is situated on a rocky hill and is ideal for viewing the surrounding nature. There is a road to go up the hill. An ancient pillar 15 feet high is built in front of the temple on the hill. There is also a small water pond on the hill. Kundana Hill is almost coverd by rocks.
