Mysore Railway Museum is located in Mysore district of Karnataka state. Railway Museum Mysore, established in 1979, is an open-air museum displaying locomotives. It is the second museum in the country after the National Railway Museum in Delhi. It is run by the South Western Railway and displays vintage steam locomotives, railway carriages, inspection cars, telecommunication equipment and other items related to railways.

Located near the Mysore City railway station, this museum offers a glimpse of the monumental building of the Indian Railways. Locomotives on display include a bright red Austin Rail Motor Car. Austin car fitted to run on rails, several inspection cars, ES-506 type steam locomotive, meter-gauge rail bus, Maharani saloon carriage, royal coaches, MG Steam Locomotive -TS 37338, NG Steam Locomotive – 119 E and MG Steam Locomotive – YP -2511 Steam engine.
