Malka Gudi Hill near Somwarpet is one of the hills of Kodagu. Just 12 km from Somwarpet, this hill will become one of the convenient picnic spots if basic amenities like good roads and accommodation are provided. It looks like the temple was built by stacking small rocks and is said to have been frequented by cowherds for many decades. Even today people from the surrounding villages offer pooja on the day of Shashti.
