The Watehole Dam is located on the Votehole River, a tributary of the Yagachi River in the Kaveri Basin in Alur Taluk of Hassan District, Karnataka State. This dam was completed in 1985. This dam is located in Luckenahalli village near Hassan in Karnataka. The dam is primarily used for the purpose of irrigation of the surrounding areas.
